Alumni committee positions

Hey Alumni,


Interested in being part of the HOBY team? These are the committee positions available. Check them out! You might be a perfect fit. We will be voting during the June alumni meeting. Please make sure you register.


President Committee Chair: Calls meetings for the alumni chapter. Schedules meeting places. Creates the list order for topics to be discussed by individuals in the meetings. Communicates with LSC about Alumni Chapters needs and questions to the Board.


Vice President Committee Chair: Aid to the president. If president is absent The vice president takes the individuals place. Assists with duties of the president.


Treasurer Committee Chair: Handles the dues and money made at fundraisers. Turns in the earnings to the LSC and Board. Keeps record of all money made and spent by the alumni.


Secretary Committee Chair: Takes detailed notes of every meeting. Email the notes to the LSC and to alumni members. Takes detail of all votes made by alumni.


Technology committee chair: (2) positions These individuals will be adminstrators to the facebook, instagram, twitter, and website HOBY FWT uses to communicate with the public. These individuals will be allowed to help post and think of content for HOBY but will be under the supervision of the LSC.


Photographers: (3) positions These individuals will rotate and attend all events and volunteer functions done by the Alumni Chapter. They will coordinate with each other about the dates they will serve. They will communicate with the technology chair and provide content for the web presence of HOBY FWT. (Must own provide camera or cell phone)


Volunteer committee chair: (2) positions These individuals will contact the volunteers for every project. They will assist in seeking volunteer opportunities for HOBY FWT. They will be the point of contact for any individual of the alumni who is participating in a volunteer project. They must communicate with each other on scheduling when each will and will not be able to attend dates for service projects.


Fundraising committee chair: (2) positions These individuals will represent HOBY during fundraising events. At least one of the fundraising chairs must be at a event. These individuals will contact each alumni member to remind them about events. These individuals may also seek other methods of fundraising to discuss at alumni meetings.


*All positions are supervised by a member of the HOBY FWT Board who is over 21. Under no circumstances will members be able to make decisions final with out the approval of the HOBY FWT Board.
